This ethereal, surreal, abstract painting, features a moonlit figure staring into a star filled cosmos, or starry starry night (a nod to Vincent Van Gogh). The title, "Stardust - I Sing the Body Electric", is borrowed from Joni Mitchell's song Woodstock and Walt Whitman's poem of the same name in which he explores the interconnectedness of body and the soul.
This original acrylic painting has been varnished to protect the paint from dust, dirt, and uv rays.
It is signed, titled, and dated on the back by, Jim Whalen, the artist and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
