Description
"The Passion" is an abstract expression of the events of the Christian 'Holy Week'. It is a color sensitive depiction of the events from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, built upon a cruciform composition it uses a jewel tone color pallet to depict Jerusalem and reflect its desert environment. This fine art acrylic painting is packed with texture, form and color and allows the viewer to contemplate the depth and meaning of each and how they connect to The Passion of Christ. It is an original work of art painted on stretched canvas, using professional quality acrylic paint and it has been varnished to protect it from dust, scratches and UV rays. It is signed on the front, and signed and dated on the back by the artist and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
