This is an abstract figurative grouping - "Group Hug". The central figures are composed of warm and comforting earth tones to accentuate the comfort of the human touch. It is another homage to Hans Hofmann from my ongoing series, Hats Off to Hans.
It is an original, modern, contemporary, abstract acrylic painting.
It has been varnished to protect the paint from dust, dirt, and uv rays.
It is signed, titled, and dated on the back by Jim Whalen, the artist and it comes with a certificate of authenticity
